Arriving at Tabitha and Adrian's home on a beautiful summer's evening, you honestly felt as if you were in Italy...
Tabitha had laid a table outside with a colourful table cloth and glasses of Aperol spritz and various shades of wine made the perfect accents!
A few veg shed members had just enjoyed a cookery holiday in Puglia so the the selection of dishes was particularly exquisite, thanks to the travellers sharing their newly found knowledge....
A wide variety of hot dishes and salads were followed, as usual, by puddings and on this occasion a very special birthday cake...
We take birthdays very seriously at Veg Shed, and this was a special number, so Eileen, the birthday girl, was sung too, toasted and generally very spoilt!
We watched the sun go down in the garden room when it started to get a bit chilly...
As usual, no one wanted to go home!
