Basically we have realised that Italy is a bit of a favourite foodie destination - there really is something for everyone!
We were all warmly welcomed into the home of Fiona and Trevor Silvester. Their home is a very glamorous converted church, you really could not hope for more beautiful surroundings.
We started off with drinks and chat...
Can be quite hard getting some people to the table!

I am definitely with this gang - I had to be firmly reminded to actually take the photos for the blog!!
The architecture of the church is so stunning and the dining area, particularly lovely -
We soon all got stuck in and the food was out of this world...
Anti pasti, vegetarian lasagne, Bolognese, Tuscan bean salad, delicious breads...
And we settled down and enjoyed!
