Spain

This post is a guest post by Jane Verrill as I was away on holiday, so many thanks Jane!

We had a very jolly, Spanish themed, veg shed this time, hosted by Livvy Cawthorn, in her beautiful home.

Our veg shed nights are always a great surprise as we never quite know who is coming or what they will bring. Unusually this time, it was all savoury tapas - no puddings!

There were two different types of Patatas Bravas, spicy and smokey; succulent garlic mushrooms and delicately flavoured hummus garnished with pine nuts and feta.

We also enjoyed some nutty Manchego cheese bites and tasty roasted aubergine nibbles with fresh basil leaves.

It is very good to see that Enid, a newcomer to our village has already become a veg shed regular!

A great time was clearly had by all, the food looks absolutely delicious.
I hope everyone indulged in some lovely Spanish wine as well: Cava, Rioja, a sherry even?
